Mahogin's battle poem

Kalandruns to Erethor

At Age’s end the battle’s bleak.
Rebels dare an unmatched foe.
Scattered secrets – heroes seek
Candles waver Against Shadow!

Mountains deep hold treasures dear
Come Dwarf and Dwarg you know no fear!
Within a Dragon’s hoard you brought
Secrets of mighty weapons wrought!

Friends are true foes are weak
for the shadow’s future’s bleak.

At Age’s end the battle’s bleak.
Rebels dare an unmatched foe.
Scattered secrets – heroes seek
Torches light Against Shadow!

Hunted, captured Elfling, elf,
Despairing you wept not for self
Prisoner’s freed, a white mother known,
Forest warriors fight not alone!

Cross mountain high caverns cold
Companions true fought shadows blight
Cross rivers wide through forests old
Bring burning dawn to endless night.

At Age’s end the battle’s bleak.
Rebels dare an unmatched foe.
Scattered secrets – heroes seek
Stars gleaming Against The Shadow!

And yet the woods themselves now fail
Aelgar’s vengeance a second veil
Shame to he, when others dare
Sad tales are what all champions bear!
Aelgar deserter of the Witch
Aelgar’s vengeance a painful switch.
Aelgar’s son is dead and cold.
Awaken warrior and be now bold!
All who live are promised doom.
Cast off this weak and childish gloom.
Come back! At Caradul there is room!
Choose Elder Tree over living tomb!

Then rise again as undead wight
and fight against our side for right.
